The Spontaneous E-Book Giveaway That’s Going On For No Good Reason! Giveaway 15

I’ve got 3 copies of Jane George’s Mumbo Jumbo Circus!

Synopsis: When the enigmatic Ringmaster asks 15-year-old Evanja (Evan) Leane to run away and join the circus, she says yes. (Anywhere’s got to be better than foster home Number Eight.) Evan learns that this ragtag circus, a haven for throwaway teens, relies on more than spectacle and illusion. This circus is built on magic. Each of the teens possesses a donvrai, a true gift, that manifests only in the presence of the Ringmaster’s mysterious Ju-Ju. Unlike many of the other teens who must wait for their donvrai to emerge, Evan’s gift surfaces on her first night: she can read horses’ minds. (This would be totally awesome except she has been deathly afraid of horses since foster home Number Three.) A fire forces the circus to retreat to The Funny Farm in Wisconsin where Evan faces her equine fears, evades a determined child services officer and embarks on a rocky romance with Wally, a teen circus cook with a serious cutting issue. To get the Ju-Ju, the Ringmaster’s evil uncle kidnaps and enslaves Evan in his Las Vegas shock spectacular, Cirque Patron. And then the Ringmaster is wrongfully arrested for murder. Will Evan be able to save the Mumbo Jumbo Circus, the only place she’s ever wanted to call home?

To enter, all you have to do is answer the question or write on the subject given. Winners are chosen at random and this giveaway will end at 10 AM Eastern on Monday. Good Luck.

“If you ran away to join the Circus, which part of it would you be in?”

  • If I joined the circus I’d want to follow in the footsteps of my uncle. He worked for Barnum and Bailey, where he met his wife, and the mother of his children. He was a jack of all trades and helped run it and performed in a variety of acts!!

  • Charmaine

I would love to be the lion tamer!

  • Jan Brown

How ironic!!! I answered another question with this same answer lol….I’d runaway and join the circus to be in the horse act!

  • Linda Mihay

No question! I’ve ALWAYS wanted to be a trapeze artist!

  • Danielle Sehgal

I like the big Cats! Although, being shot out of a cannon would be pretty cool too 🙂

  • Connie Dash

LOL.. I want to be the ticket master…. get to see each and every smiling face that enters the big top!!

  • Linda

I’d want to manage and coordinate the circus.

  • Rebecca Sitahal-Flemming

I think a Trapeze Artist, because it is so the opposite of what I would do now LOL
