I was wowed by Giacomo Giammatteo and I put him on my list of authors to watch after I read Murder Takes Time.  When Partners in Crime Tours posted the sign up for the tour for A Bullet For Carlos, I jumped on board as soon as I could.  Once again, I am wowed by Mr. Giammatteo’s vivid storytelling.

Detective Connie Giannelli was a part of an undercover drug bust that went bad.  Now two cops are dead, the drugs are missing and Internal Affairs believe she’s dirty due to her Uncle’s ties to the mob.  Did dirty cops take the drugs or her Uncle’s friends?   Can she clear her name before IA pins the whole thing on her?

This book was an absolute page turner.  For people that are already fans of Giammatteo’s work, we see some familiar faces and for newcomers, be ready to go back and read Murder Takes Time because you’re really going to want to.  This isn’t just a series, it’s a universe filled with interesting characters and stories you’ll be anxiously awaiting to read.  Matter of fact, I can’t wait to get my hands on Murder Has Consequences!
