The Spontaneous E-Book Giveaway That’s Going On For No Good Reason! Giveaway 7

Remember giveaway 6 is still going on! Click here for it! These two are set to post at the same time so you might miss it!

Surprise! I’m giving away 2 books at a time now! Well 3 at this moment because the other one is a 2 in 1 🙂

Anyway! We have a YA e-book here called Dragon Time! It’s by Ruth Nestvold.

Synopsis In Unterdrachenberg, time has stopped. After the death of his queen, the dragon king is mad with grief. Only a human woman can enter the dragon’s lair to fix time — a magic that is forbidden to women. Katja is the grand-daughter of a clockmaker, and she has watched her grandfather work with time for many years. But can she fix it on her own? More importantly, is she brave enough to try?

All you have to do to be entered is answer the question or write on the subject! Winners will be chosen at random and I have 2 copies to give away. Good luck! This contest will go on until 10 AM Eastern on Sunday!

“What would you do to stop a dragon that has made time stop? Remember this is your fantasy world and anything is at your disposal!”

Find out what the dragon likes to eat and what ails it then lure it into a bottomless mine shaft by tossing the bait down it and then drop a bilogical bomb on top of it to save the world and start time moving again even though I get killed in the process as the bomb also explodes and its a virus that can also be spread on computers as a side effect to this biological bomb so the world has to deal with that too after it explodes..

well now after I’ve taken care of a few things that I’ve needed to do….since it appears that I’m not stopped in this time stop thing….I guess after my short lived Vacation (pout)….I would talk to the dragon and ask him wtf why did he stop time in the first place? maybe he need a vacation too!!! Or maybe he just got sick of all those little knights trying to kill him all the freaking time…he didn’t do anything to them…just a bad rap for nothing…little whinners!!!! Then after working after the issues I’m sure he’s just another Pete’s dragon and he’ll turn back on time 🙂

I’d steal his fire so he’d lose his power to stop time or hurt anyone.

First I would ask my good friend, Harry Potter, if I could borrow his invisibility cloak. then I would sneak up on the dragon while he is sleeping and steal the amulet around his neck that allows him to stop time. Easy Peasy!

I cautiously approach the dragon holding out my hand to show him I mean no threat, and I have food. The dragon, being the last of his kind and hidden so long, that he was ignored by the leaders of various cultures, has frozen time out of intense boredom. I escaped the vortex of time stoppage by being in the dragons lair at the point of stoppage. I had been studying him for weeks now. I knew there had been no joy in this dragons life.

I hold the little packets in my hand, in plain sight… the dragon sniffing in curiosity. The wonderful fruity flavors have enticed him. Surprisingly, in a guttural throaty purr, the dragon speaks.

    “What have you Human?”

“Something to amuse you, something to experience.”

The dragon, seeing I wasn’t scared of him or too stupid to be scared, knew I had been in his lair. My scent was everywhere, and evidently, my puny size and lack of weapons posed no threat. He stretched out his neck and I slowly poured the contents of the packets in his mouth.

All of a sudden, a wry smile began to lift the corners of his mouth, a large drawn out laugh began to bubble up. The dragon, giggling, rolled over on his back, grabbing at his mid-section, and lost all control on his concentration needed to stop time. Time began to flow again.

“What was that!! It tickles! The best thing I have had in a millenia!” the great dragon roared.

Pop Rocks. A party for your mouth…..

(anyone that dont know or remember pop rocks, it is a candy that bursts in your mouth… great fun!!)

The beautiful princess is offered as a sacrifice to appease the dragon’s grief, but at the lat minute, the handsome knight and I slay the dragon. Before the dragon’s heart stops beating completely, the knight cuts a piece of it right out the dragon’s chest. I place the piece of dragon’s heart into the Master Clock. Just as it seems that all hope is lost, the second hand of the Master Clock moves, and the familiar “tick-tock” can be heard once again! Time has restarted and all is well with the world. The kingdom celebrates! What’s on the menu? Dragon stew, of course 😉
